Now, if others are requesting the same web page then they are all coming down the pipe at the same time. The pipe eventually gets crowded and starts to slow down the speed in which you access the web page. To help alleviate this problem the owner of the web page can add more bandwidth, essentially adding more pipes, or a bigger pipe, for the web pages to travel to yours and other computers.
